It was just another ordinary day in the Philippines, not until two Korean stars were spotted in one of the country’s islands.

K-drama fans in the Philippines were in for a surprise as Blackpink member Jisoo and K-drama actor Seo In-Guk were spotted in Cebu, sparking excitement over their highly anticipated romance K-drama, “Boyfriend on Demand.”

The two South Korean stars arrived separately at Mactan-Cebu International Airport, with Jisoo touching down on Feb. 8, followed by In-Guk shortly after.

The sighting immediately stirred buzz among Filipino fans, as videos and photos of the duo began circulating online.

In one particular clip, the two could be seen sharing a drink, hinting at their on-screen chemistry that fans are eager to witness.

In one of their team’s Instagram updates, it seems like the K-stars will be in Cebu until Feb. 14.

“You’re just traumatized when you have these losses. At some point, you’re just glad you’re alive,” said Don Hornstein, an insurance law expert at the University of North Carolina. “And then, you have to turn to the business side of this. It’s tough.”

Set to air on MBC, “Boyfriend on Demand” is a romance drama that explores the story of Seo Mi-rae, a webtoon producer longing for love without complications.

Jisoo takes on the role of Mi-rae, while In-Guk portrays Park Gyeong-nam, a mysterious figure who crosses paths with her in both the virtual world and reality. Their evolving connection promises heart-fluttering moments that will keep audiences hooked.

Adding to the star-studded lineup is actress Chae Soo-bin, along with cast members Ryu Abel, Kang Min-woo, Park Ji-ho, Kim Seong-hun, Song Hana, Kim Sung-cheol, Gong Min-jun and Seo Hyo-rim.

The drama’s production in Cebu has further fueled anticipation, as the island’s scenery is expected to serve as a stunning backdrop for the series.

With “Boyfriend on Demand” currently in the works, fans are counting down the days until they can witness Jisoo and In-Guk’s on-screen romance unfold.
