MANILA, Philippines — More expressways have announced the waiving of toll because of the holiday season.
The Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) on Monday announced that toll will be free in all of their expressways on the evening of December 24 (Christmas Eve) until 6 a.m. on Christmas Day.
Article continues after this advertisementThe same will be in effect from 10 p.m. on December 31 (New Year’s Eve) until the next day (New Year’s Day) at 6 a.m.

Article continues after this advertisementEarlier, the San Miguel Corporation also announced its waiving of the toll on all of its expressways.
These are Skyway System, Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) Expressway (NaiaX), South Luzon Expressway (Slex), STAR Tollway, and Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway (TPlex).
The expressways will be toll-free for motorists from 10 p.m. on December 24 to 6 a.m. on December 25, and again from 10 p.m. on December 31 to 6 a.m. on January 1, 2025.
