As per reports, Priyanka also said that Sonia Gandhi has the utmost respect for the President.

Speaking to reporters in Delhi, Priyanka Gandhi addressed the controversy, saying: "My mother is 78 years old. She simply said, 'The President must have been tired after reading such a long speech, poor thing.' She holds the President in the highest regard, and it’s unfortunate that the media has twisted her words like this." Priyanka continued, "Both are respected individuals, older than us, and it's clear that my mother meant no disrespect."

This came after Sonia Gandhi's remarks on Friday at the start of the Budget Session, which sparked controversy. When asked about President Droupadi Murmu's address, Sonia had said, "The President was getting very tired by the end. She could hardly speak, poor thing."
